Please, read through the following information regarding our quilting prices and policies. Do NOT send us your quilt top until we have discussed your project. It is extremely important to discuss each quilt before we get started. We want you to be 100% satisfied with your quilt, and it’s very important that we know what you expect for your treasured quilt top.
Cost Calculation: Length × Width × $ = Cost
For example, a 60" x 60" quilt would be calculated as: 60" x 60" = 3,600 sq in × $0.0175 = $63.00
Computerized Edge-to-Edge
$0.0175 - $0.03 per square inch
- Continuous design from edge to edge of the quilt. This option is the most affordable and fastest way to beautifully complete your quilt. More than 10,000 designs to choose from! Price is determined by the density of the quilting design chosen.
- $40.00 minimum on all Edge-to-Edge quilting.
- Our quality longarm quilting services have an average turnaround time of 1-2 weeks.
Custom Quilting
$0.045 - $0.08 per square inch
- Specific placement of patterns in blocks, borders, sashings, and setting triangles.
- We create custom quilting that is tailored to the individual blocks and borders of your quilt.
- Current turnaround time: 3 – 4 weeks
- Pricing is determined at the time of consultation if a desired budget is requested, which can be in person, over the phone, or via email.
Deluxe (Heirloom) Custom Quilting
$0.07 - $0.14 per square inch
- Custom heirloom quilting that includes micro stippling, ruler work, and other techniques. Popular for show quilts and other high-end projects, including quilts with applique.
- Average turnaround time: 2 – 3 months
Binding Optional Services
To calculate binding, you need to find the linear inches. Just add all 4 sides together and multiply that number by the price.
- Option 1: $0.10 per linear inch
- You bring me the binding made and ready to go, and I will stitch it onto the FRONT of the quilt top and give it back to you to apply by hand or machine stitch it onto the back.
- Option 2: $0.18 per linear inch
- You bring me the binding made and ready to go, and I will machine stitch it onto the FRONT and BACK of the quilt, so the quilt is completely finished and ready for use!
- Option 3: $0.15 per linear inch
- You bring me the material, and I will make the binding and apply it onto the FRONT of the quilt top and give it back to you to hand or machine bind it onto the back.
- Option 4: $0.20 per linear inch
- I make the binding and machine apply it to the FRONT and BACK of the quilt.
Additional optional Charges
- Piecing the Back of the Quilt ----- $10.00 per seam
- Add strips(leaders) to the back of your quilt----$10.00 per strip
- Trimming the quilt (only upon request)----$15.00
Thread (cost of thread is included in price)
We use Superior high-quality quilting threads, which available in many fibers, finishes, and weights. (Learn more HERE)
- OMNI 40 wt. 2-ply corespun (poly-wrapped poly core) thread. Designed for quilting, OMNI is the cleaner, brighter, and stronger, enough to handle the rigors of longarm quilting and is available in 172 solid colors.
- So Fine! #50 50 wt. 3-ply polyester thread. Designed for quilting, So Fine! #50 is a lint-free, matte- finish, smooth filament polyester thread. Due to its fine nature, So Fine! #50 is an excellent blending thread and loved by both longarm and home machine quilters. Available in 134 colors.
- King Tut 40 wt. 3-ply Egyptian-grown extra-long staple cotton thread. Designed for quilting and decorative stitching. King Tut is one of nature's finest threads. With low lint and high strength, King Tut is the top cotton thread choice for visible stitches. Available in over 100 color selections in both solid variegated options. All variegated color blends are precision dyed with one-inch color change intervals.
Terms & Conditions
- Minimum charge for quilting is $40.00
- Half of the payment is due when you ship or drop off your quilt. The remaining half is due when you pick up or before we ship your quilt back.
- We accept Venmo, check, or cash payment.
- Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. For U.S. customers, we offer shipping through USPS or FedEx, and you will receive tracking information with your shipment. While insurance is optional, we highly recommend it to protect your items. Please note that we are not responsible for any items lost during shipping.
- Quilts are not trimmed unless a customer requests this service. Fees will be discussed if this service is requested.
